Finding a rental
Local agents and direct-owner listings both exist; a local introduction can save time compared to a cold search, particularly if you're not yet on the ground to view properties in person.
What to check before signing
- Deposit amount and what it covers
- Contract length and any break clause
- Who's responsible for maintenance, utilities and community fees
- Whether the property is properly licensed for the type of let being offered
How long people typically rent for
