Why people talk to us first

A genuine connection to Los Dolses, not a call-centre script

Move to Costa Blanca was started around a real family connection to Los Dolses and years of relationships with local tradespeople, agents and professionals along the southern Costa Blanca. We're not a nationwide portal that happens to list Spain — this is a deliberately narrow, local focus.

Honest about what we are

We plan, research and introduce. We do not provide legal, tax, immigration, mortgage or financial advice ourselves — and we'll tell you plainly when you need a qualified professional instead of us.

Local relationships, built over time

Our contacts in and around Los Dolses and Orihuela Costa have been built through direct family ties to the area, not a directory of paid listings.

One area, done properly

We focus on the southern Costa Blanca — Los Dolses, Villamartín, Orihuela Costa, La Zenia and neighbouring towns — rather than spreading thin across all of Spain.

How it works

A simple, low-pressure process

Most people start with more questions than answers. Our process is built to bring clarity before you commit to anything.

1

Free move-planning call

We talk through your circumstances, timeline, budget expectations and what "moving well" looks like for your family.

2

Area & lifestyle guidance

We help you compare Los Dolses, Villamartín, La Zenia and nearby areas against your priorities — schools, beaches, golf, walkability, budget.

3

Introductions that matter

Property or rental search contacts, and — where you need regulated advice — introductions to qualified local lawyers, tax advisers, mortgage brokers or immigration specialists.

4

Move order & settling in

Practical sequencing — visas and residency steps, renting vs buying, schools, removals, pets and the everyday admin of actually landing well.

How we work with you

What to expect from us

We're a new service, so rather than quote clients we don't have yet, here's plainly what we aim to deliver on every call — and we'll update this section with real client feedback once we have it.

No pressure, ever

Every call is planning-first. We're not paid on commission to rush you toward a property or a decision.

Straight answers

If something is outside what we do, or needs a qualified professional, we say so directly rather than guessing.

Local, not generic

Guidance shaped around Los Dolses and the southern Costa Blanca specifically, not a one-size-fits-all Spain script.

FAQ

Questions people ask before that first call

Are you Spanish lawyers, estate agents or financial advisers?
No. Move to Costa Blanca is an independent relocation-planning and introductions service. We are not Spanish lawyers, tax advisers, estate agents, immigration advisers, mortgage brokers or financial advisers. Where regulated or personalised advice is needed — residency, tax, conveyancing, mortgages — we introduce you to appropriately qualified local professionals rather than advising you ourselves.
Do you have an office in Spain?
We work with trusted local contacts in and around Los Dolses and Orihuela Costa built through a genuine family connection to the area, and we coordinate planning calls, research and introductions remotely. We're upfront that this is a planning and introductions service rather than a staffed local branch office.
Is this only for people buying property?
No. We help with renting, buying, and the many people who sensibly rent for a period before deciding where to buy. Our first conversation is about your situation and timeline, not a sales pitch for a purchase.
I'm coming from Belgium, not the UK — is this still for me?
Yes. We run separate guidance tracks for UK movers (who face post-Brexit visa and residency paperwork) and Belgian and other EU movers (whose starting point as an EU citizen is different). See our dedicated pages for each route.
How much does it cost to talk to you?
The initial move-planning call is free. If you'd like ongoing help with research, introductions or coordination beyond that call, we'll always explain any cost clearly before you commit to anything.
What areas do you cover?
Our focus is the southern Costa Blanca: Los Dolses, Villamartín, Orihuela Costa, La Zenia, Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig, Campoamor, Punta Prima, Torrevieja, San Miguel de Salinas, Ciudad Quesada and Rojales. We don't claim coverage of all of Spain — this is a deliberately local, specialist focus.
